hello! my name is tanner langford and I am a current graduate student at the University of Southern California studying Public Relations and advertising. the professional side
my love of storytelling and writing was the first thing that piqued my interest in the public relations field and I went on to explore that in my first internship. working as a digital media intern for a sustainable jewelry company first brought me into the world of brand storytelling and being able to intimately connect with a brand’s message through devising and executing a strategy. this experience only expanded my interest in pr and I continued to hone my writing and social media skills through my coursework and internships.
i hope to enter the fashion industry helping place products through various aspects of paid, earned, shared, and owned media. with a love of strategy, I hope to create meaningful, well-thought-out strategies that help to expand brand reach, communicate brand message, and bolster brand reputation.
the personal side
outside of school and work, i make time for some of my hobbies and passions including:
- Running: I’m hoping to run a marathon in 2023!
- Fashion: I enjoy curating pinterest boards and finding inspiration
- Spending time with friends and family
